Welcome

Three months ago today I received a blessing far beyond measure. Well, far beyond anything I have ever had to measure. (To protect whatever story she's told when she's older I'm leaving the HOW/WHY out) Ultimately, I received a call from XXX to watch a baby for a weekend...... three months later she's asleep in the bedroom as I'm writing on the couch.

I decided to start this blog for a number of reasons:

1. There may be others going through a similar situation

2. I need an outlet

3. I need a new subject to write about

A little about me: I'm 5'2" I like long walks on the beach and cuddling. Lol! KIDDING! (kinda) Truthfully, I love to laugh and make others laugh as well. I'm God-fearing; I saw His star in the East, loving, kind, patient ONLY with children, I graduated from TEMPLE UNIVERSITY. I tried grad school at Rutgers and realized it wasn't for me very early on. I have a freelance company (is that an oxymoron?) with one of my best friends from childhood, sister Bernadette. I'm quite opinionated and also forgiving....with opinions like mine, it's imperative that I am so. I belong to several community and civic groups, I'm a professional non-profiteer. I totally don't mind asking for money for whatever I may be raising it for at the moment.....

So as we have it, I'm an official foster parent and I truly deal with all the things that come along with it. The emotions, the stress, the changes, the isms and the schisms. Welcome to my blog. I will share my thoughts and change names where required.
